Today, the job is go to Felda Aring 6 to check what's the problem with the engine..The engine is Duetz..
Almost 4 hour in the road to arrive at the felda. At there, the surrounding of the station is critically bad of oil dirty. 2 years ago, this station is burning and badly damage and lost 32kw deutz engine with alternator.
At aring 6, they have two 32kw deutz engines. 1 is running and the other not. The problem is the voltage not stable. The TNB staffs have better experience and detect the error in the engine after make an inspection. After we check the alternator, we saw there are some steel powder at the VCU(voltage control unit), staff strongly believe the faulty come from alternator. We need to change the alternator to run this engine again. Before we left aring 6, we change the VCU(voltage control unit) to the new one.
